Once again, Kiwanis Club of Forest is partnering with wiikwedong Arts Collective Kettle Point and other local organizations to host their annual Indigenous Film Festival Weekend. This year, the festival will take place April 11, 12, 13 and 15. The schedule is as follows:

April 11: Enjoy Monague Tacos, Artisans & a series
of short films with a Q&A with the Producers and Artists. The event starts at 6:15 PM
April 12: The Great Salish Heist at 7:00 PM
April 13: So Surreal: Behind the Masks at 2:30 PM
April 15: The Great Salish Heist at 8:00 PM

As part of the festival, local schools will be invited to take part in a workshop led by Leigh George of Kettle Point Productions, and then prepare their own short films for submission to the festival's Youth Film Competition. There will also be cooking workshops available on Saturday afternoon which will be open to the public.
