The Vancouver International Film Festival consistently goes all out for National Canadian Film Day, and this year is no different! VIFF is going beyond a single day of celebration with a Canadian Film Showcase running over two weeks with over 50 screenings, offering an enticing blend of new and classic films, featuring local talent and filmmakers from across the country.
This showcase includes two world premieres, provincial premieres, anniversary screenings and even a filmmaker filming his next film live at a Q&A! Special guests include Carl Bessai, Daniel Cross, Robert Conely Farr, Sook-Yin Lee, Fay Nass, Corey Payette, Brendan Prost, David Ray, David Secter, and Bruce Sweeney.
