Summary

Christian Sparkes is an acclaimed writer and director from Newfoundland whose films often evoke the darkness and beauty of Atlantic Canada. His debut feature film, Cast No Shadow, won Best Atlantic Feature as well as Best Director, Screenplay, Actress, Actor and Cinematography at the Atlantic Film Festival in 2014. Since then he has gone on to direct other notable films, releasing both The King Tide and Sweetland in 2024.

Frances Fisher

Frances Louise Fisher is an award-winning American actress. In film, she is known for her roles in Unforgiven, Titanic, True Crime, Laws of Attraction, The Kingdom, The Lincoln Lawyer, and The Host. Most recently, Fischer portrayed the role of Faye in The King Tide, for which she was nominated for Best Performance in a Supporting Role at the 2024 Canadian Screen Awards.
