In this national livestream for high schools, thousands of students across the country have the opportunity to speak with legendary documentarian Alanis Obomsawin (Abenaki). The programme showcases Obomsawin’s powerful short film Honour to Senator Murray Sinclair, and reflects on Canada’s legacy of Residential Schools and pathways towards reconciliation. Moderated by journalist Kelly Boutsalis (Mohawk), the broadcast features live interactive elements, a pre-recorded student roundtable, and more.
